How can I use e-mail to promote my affiliate link?In addition, including your Affiliate Link in your news letters (news letter tool included in select packages), you can also use your e-mail signature tag to promote your affiliate link: Add a line in your e-mail signature tag (or create one if you don’t have one yet) that expresses your relation with 1&1. If you’d like us to review your signature or to do suggestions, please send us an e-mail at emarketing@1and1.com Your signature file should consist of just a few lines of text. 3-6 lines is usually sufficient. Try to keep the line length to 60 characters or less including spaces. Some e-mail programs can wrap text over 60 characters making the signature not as appealing to viewers. Always left justify your signature file. Most people use Microsoft Outlook, but most e-mail programs have a similar signature feature. Under the Tools menu, choose Options then Mail Format. At the bottom of the Mail Format menu, click the Signature button. When you click on the button, you are provided a text box to create your signature, then click on the New button, and you will be guided to creating your signature file. You can also import HTML into your signature file. |
