How do I setup authorized chat participants?


On this page you determine whether the created chat should be accessible only for registered users
(log in required), or if guest users should also be permitted.

1. Click Edit on the chat channel you wish to change.


2. Click Edit under Authorize Chat Participants.


3. You can now change the Authorize Chat Participants. Click OK when you are done. You must
select at least one option. You can allow both groups of participants at the same time.


The following options are available:

Registered 1&1 chat users (including the option of logging in as a new user for the 1&1 chats)

Participation as a guest, i.e., log in without a chat name.
