What is WebsiteCreator?


WebsiteCreator is an advanced content management tool to assist you in designing and
maintaining a professional looking website.

WebsiteCreator provides 120 professionally pre-designed templates to choose from.

Once you decide on the color and graphics, you are ready to add your own content. In
just a few simple steps you will have a stunning website. Plus, each step is
introduced, explained and executed in your own browser window so there is no software
to install!

Existing customers who enabled the WSC, can continue to use it. But if WSC was not
enabled it has been removed from Control Panel.

WebsiteCreator (WSC) guides you, with an easy, 5-step wizard, in making and publishing your own website.

* WebsiteCreator ID - This ID is used for creating a home directory for this WSC. Click on this to launch WSC.
* Assigned Domain - Which domain name would you like your website to be shown under? Assign a domain to the website
by clicking on the Edit button. A different domain can be assigned or it can be unassigned without losing any content.
* Number of Pages - If you would like to have WSC with unlimited pages, you can upgrade to WebsiteCreator Plus.
* Status - When the status is ready, then your WSC can be used to create content and to choose the design and layout
or you can update it.

Please note:

* WSC cannot be used with MS FrontPage Server Extensions (FPSE). To disable FPSE for a domain go to the Domain
Overview. Click on the domain name and then click on Edit next to FPSE.
* This feature may block some domain setting options and should be not assigned to a domain while you are
changing its settings, for example, DNS settings.
* Make sure pop-up blockers are disabled to launch WSC.
* Unassigning a domain only takes the website offline, the content is not erased and the WSC remains available
for use. This is not equivalent to canceling. To cancel a WSC please contact support for further details.

System requirements: WebsiteCreator is now fully compatible with Netscape 7.1 and higher for Windows and Mozilla
for Windows (1.4 and higher) and Mac. WebsiteCreator is compatible with Internet Explorer 6 or higher for Windows.

Note: WSC is not offered anymore. Since Aug 29th 2005, WSC has been replaced
with WebsiteBuilder
