What is a DNS transfer?Transferring your DNS (Domain Name Server) points your existing domain to a new host without changing the registrar. When transferring to 1&1, change your DNS settings to these 1&1 name servers: ns57.1and1.com ns58.1and1.com DNS propagation takes about 24-48* hours. Note: You should use the above DNS only to host the domain with 1&1. Other name servers are not allowed, even as backup. 'External' refers to a domain that is registered with a company other than 1&1. You can point external domains to 1&1 name servers in order to use 1&1 hosting services. Find out more...
