Why should I set domain contacts differently from my user data?


This feature is meant for resellers. If you choose different contacts, please be
aware that it is mandated by ICANN to keep data up-to-date.

Recommendations:
If you choose your contract's user data for domain orders and updates (by checking
the box in the order or update process), they will be taken as Reg-c and Admin-c
and 1&1 Hostmaster as Tech-c.

Advantage:
In case your user data changes (if you move, for example) and you
update the information in your Control Panel, the domain contacts will
automatically be updated.
