Adding a visitor counter in your web site


To add a visitor counter to your web site follow the steps below:

Step 1: Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel at: https://admin.1and1.com

If you have only one package, you will land on the Administration page.
If you have more than one package, select the relevant package to reach
its Administration page.


Step 2: Select Basic CGIs from the Website Applications section.


Step 3: Select the Create a CGI Form button and select Visitor counter. Select the Next button.



Step 4: Give the visitor counter a name and click on Next.

Step 5: On the next screen you now have the option to modify the layout of your counter. Additionally, you can change the counter name again. The HTML code is also displayed to you, for embedding in your web page.



Step 6: Mark the HTML source code with the mouse and copy the text to the clipboard. To paste the HTML source code in your web page, position the cursor where the text and paste the text.

Step 7: The final step is to republish the page on your web space.
