How do I transfer domains from one of my packages to another under the same Customer ID?


If you have a domain name in one of your packages and you wish to transfer it to another package
under the same customer ID then you can do so free of charge.

Please note: If you are moving a Domain name from a package that has free domain name included, but the new package does not then you will have to pay the domain fee.

1.Step:

Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel at: https://admin.1and1.com

If you have only one package, you will land on the Administration page.
If you have more than one package, select the relevant package to reach
its Administration page.


2.Step:

Select Domains from the Basic Settings section.

3.Step:

Click on 'New' and select 'Add Domain'.

4.Step:

Enter the domain name (usa-test.com) you wish to move to this package and click 'Check Domain'.

5.Step:

Please note
Website files, subdomains, and e-mail will NOT be transferred with your domain.
Please make a backup of all important information.


You have two options for moving a domain name, either now or later. If you need to recreate email addresses or subdomains for the domain name as email accounts and subdomains are not transferred with the domain you will want to choose the later option to give you time to recreate the items you need to recreate. Then once you have recreated the items you need to recreate you can start the transfer.

If you chose the Later option you can start the transfer by

1.Step:

Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel at: https://admin.1and1.com

If you have only one package, you will land on the Administration page.
If you have more than one package, select the relevant package to reach
its Administration page.


2.Step:

Select Domains from the Basic Settings section.

3.Step:

Click on 'Transfer' from the top navigation menu.

4.Step:

Click 'Show' next to Incoming Transfers.

5.Step:

Click 'I Agree', review the WHOIS data and if correct click on 'I Agree' again to start the transfer. If the WHOIS information shows up as

Oneandone Private Registration

This means you have private registration on.
