How can I get my domain back during the redemption period?


If you have deleted your domain registered with 1&1 and this domain has closed, but you have changed your mind, then we may be able to recover your domain name from the redemption period.

There is a $40 fee charged to recover a domain name from redemption, this covers the fee placed by the registrar to recover the domain from redemption as well as any internal administration fees.

To recover a domain name you have to have an active account in the same name as the domains previous account to recover the domain into. If you do not have an active account please create a hosting account of your choice on our website or, if you just want the domain without hosting, order our domain holding account.

Please print out and complete the Domain Redemption form and fax this through to us at 1-610-560-1501

It takes 5 business days for Domains to be redeemed once the Domain Redemption Form has been processed.
