How to Lock/Unlock a domain

It is always a good idea to set the transfer lock for your domain. This will prevent
the domain from unauthorized transfers.

By default domains registered to 1&1 are locked. The status can be checked as follows:

1. Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel at: https://admin.1and1.com

If you have only one package, you will land on the Administration page.
If you have more than one package, select the relevant package to reach
its Administration page.

2. Select Domains from the Basic Settings section.
