How to Lock/Unlock a domainIt is always a good idea to set the transfer lock for your domain. This will prevent the domain from unauthorized transfers. By default domains registered to 1&1 are locked. The status can be checked as follows: 1. Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel at: https://admin.1and1.com If you have only one package, you will land on the Administration page. If you have more than one package, select the relevant package to reach its Administration page. 2. Select Domains from the Basic Settings section. ![]() 3. Choose the domain and click Info. ![]() 4. The status will be displayed here. ![]() To Lock a domain: 1. Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel at: https://admin.1and1.com If you have only one package, you will land on the Administration page. If you have more than one package, select the relevant package to reach its Administration page. 2. Select Domains from the Basic Settings section. ![]() 3.
