Errors encountered while my domain was being transferred. Why?


The following are causes of some common errors:

1. Status of your domain it set to "REGISTRAR-LOCK" or "REGISTRAR-HOLD".

2. Domain has expired. Check the Expiration date for your domain.

3. You cannot transfer a domain within 60 days of registering it.

4. You cannot transfer a domain within 60 days of a transfer of registrar.
(Transfered from one registrar to another)

5. When you initiate a transfer of registrar, your current registrar will send you
an e-mail. If you do not respond to that e-mail, the transfer will be denied.
