How to insert the GeoTrust logo on my websiteOnce you have set up your SSL certificate, you can include an SSL "seal certificate" on your web page. This seal confirms the use of a digital SSL certificate (QuickSSL) issued by the digital certificate provider, Geotrust http://www.geotrust.com/ In the HTML code for your page, include the following javascript command lines at the place where you want the seal to appear: <script language="JavaScript" TYPE="text/javascript" src="https://smarticon.geotrust.com/si.js">check</script>To check an example as to what it looks like Click here This command causes your QuickSSL registration details to be submitted to the Geotrust server. Once verified by Geotrust, the appropriate seal appears on your web page. The seal appearing on the web page can neither be copied by the mouse right-click nor be saved. The current date and timestamp appearing on the seal guarantees the authenticity and currency of the seal. Please note: The domain for which you wish to include the seal must have been registered for the use of your QuickSSL certificate. If you attempt to place the seal on a domain for which no certificate has been registered, an error message will be presented. The inclusion of the SSL seal is dependent on and governed by acceptance of the Geotrust general terms and conditions. SD1B1304 |
