How do I separate multiple domains so that each points to a different webpage (i.e. create multiple sites)?

If you have more than one domain and haven't set up different directories for the
domains, they will each point to the root directory(/.) and will show the same website.

You can define a different home directory for each domain in your package,
which means that each domain you register can display different content.

For example, if you have the domains "mydomain.com" and "yourdomain.com", and
haven't set up any directories, both the domains point to the root directory. If
either of the two domains are accessed, the same pages will be displayed.

To separate the two, for each domain you must create a directory within your
web space, one for each domain.

Once the directories have been created, set the home directory for each domain to
the directories you created and upload the files to the directory the domain
points to.

1. Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel at: https://admin.1and1.com

If you have only one package, you will land on the Administration page.
If you have more than one package, select the relevant package to reach
its Administration page.

2. Select Domains from the Basic Settings section.
Domains

3. Select the domain. Click the arrow next to Destination and select
Edit Destination.
Destination 1

4. Now you have two options:
a. If the directory does not exist, choose Create new directory and enter the
directory name. (/website). Click OK.
Destination 3

b. If the directory already exists (you can make an FTP connection and create a
directory), choose Existing Directory and then select the directory from the
drop-down menu. Click OK.
Destination 2

5. A confirmation will be displayed.
Destination 4

You can now upload files to the respective directories. Repeat this procedure for
as many domains as you wish to display as individual websites.

Available in Home hosting and above.
