How do I redirect (forward) a domain?To set up a forwarding destination, please follow these instructions: 1. Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel at: https://admin.1and1.com If you have only one package, you will land on the Administration page. If you have more than one package, select the relevant package to reach its Administration page. 2. Select Domains from the Basic Settings section. ![]() 3. Select the domain. Click the arrow next to Destination and select Edit Destination. ![]() 4. Choose Forward Your Domain. Enter the address and title (mandatory fields). Click OK. ![]() 5. A confirmation will be displayed. ![]() Note: Frame redirect allows you to mask the domain you are forwarding to and allows you to enter a title and meta keywords and descriptions. Frame redirects are only available for Linux Web Hosting. HTTP redirect will allow you to forward the domain to another domain, directory or file on another web server , however, the URL will not be masked. You cannot enter meta details using HTTP redirect. For Linux, Instant Mail and Domain Packages Only: Frame redirect uses a frame that displays the page in full size onto the screen into which the domain is forwarded. This is the preferred method of forwarding. HTTP redirect is triggered directly by 1&1 web servers.
