I uploaded my pages but my homepage still shows the 1&1 introduction page

When you first register a new domain, an automatic introduction page is generated
displaying the 1&1 logo and a short text similar to the following: "This domain
has just been registered...".

The file showing this page is named 'index.html' on Linux hosting packages and
'default.htm' on Windows hosting packages.

If you have a Linux package, and your homepage is named index.htm, it will not show up
since index.html takes precedence over index.htm, and the system will display the page
with that exact file name (in this case, the 1&1 intro page).

You have 2 options:

a. Delete index.html file.
b. Rename your home page to index.html.

Note: Please make sure the file name is in lowercase. index.html is not the
same as Index.html or INDEX.HTML.

To rename or delete a file, please make an FTP connection. Check FAQ: FTP Account
