Setting up Outlook 2007 for use with our mail service


To setup Outlook 2007 to use the mail servers for 1&1 follow these steps:

1. From Microsoft Office Outlook, select Account Configuration. Select Yes and select Next.

2. Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types then select Next.

3. Select Internet E-mail and select Next.

4. Select IMAP as the Account Type. Fill in the correct information and select More Settings....

5. Select POP as the Account Type. Fill in the correct information and select Next.

6. Select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and turn on Use same settings as my incoming mail server. Select OK.

7. From the 1&1 Control Panel you will see that the process has been completed.
