How does the package system work?


All 1&1 products offer a pre-set number of online services and features, bundled in
all-inclusive packages.

We have a variety of packages available online at www.1and1.com. Choose your desired
product line (WEB HOSTING, SERVER, etc.) from the top menu, then click on Linux Hosting or
Microsoft Hosting to view the package features in a side-by-side comparison.

For instance, the 1&1 Developer Package comes with 300 GB web space, 3,000 GB/month
transfer volume, 50 FTP accounts, 4,000 POP3/IMAP mailboxes, 10,000 e-mail aliases, etc.

When a package is purchased at 1&1, any payment made towards it is for the
package and its features only, regardless of how many domains are contained within it.

If you have a Developer Package with 300 GB of web space and want to create a
number of websites, you can purchase or transfer numerous domains into that
package to share the web space and e-mail allocations. The price of the package will not increase.
