How to create a mysql database



To connect to your MySQL database, you will need the following information from Control Panel:
MySQL Host Name:
User Name:
Password:
Database Name:

To retreive the information, or if you haven't already set up a database, please follow the step-by-step directions below:

1. Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel at: https://admin.1and1.com

If you have only one package, you will land on the Administration page.
If you have more than one package, select the relevant package to reach
its Administration page.


2. Select MySQL Administration from the Web Space & Access section.

3. If you haven't set up any databases click New Database button.

4. Enter a description and click Set Up.

5. A confirmation is displayed. The database will be ready in 3 hours.

6. The complete information is displayed.
