How to change the file permissions


The following instructions are for changing file permissions in a Linux hosting package.

WS-FTP
1. Make a connection to the server using WISE-FTP. Follow instructions in FAQ:

2. Now right-click the file for which you wish to change the permissions and select Properties.

3. Set the permissions by checking the appropriate boxes or change the numeric
value directly. Click OK to save the changes.

WISE-FTP

2. Right-click the file for which you wish to change the permissions and select Properties.
