What is the required information for an FTP connection?


You will need the following information to make an FTP connection:

1. FTP Hostname (your domain name)
2. User name
3. Password

You can find the above information as follows:
1. Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel at: https://admin.1and1.com

If you have only one package, you will land on the Administration page.
If you have more than one package, select the relevant package to reach
its Administration page.


2. Select FTP Account from Basic Settings or Web Space & Access section.

3. You can get the user name and password here.
