How do I use Cyberduck to connect to my webspace via FTP?
Use the steps below to connect to your shared hosting webspace (or storage space) via SFTP, FTPS, or FTP(insecure). The reference images provided reflect Cyberduck 4.2.1 on a Macintosh.
Cyberduck is a free FTP program (also called an FTP client) that allows you to upload, download and change permissions of files you keep in the webspace of your 1&1 package. FTP is insecure in that it transmits your password in plain text. The good news is that FileZilla supports FTPS and SFTP and you can use these secure versions of FTP to transfer your files.
