I have setup my connection, how do I connect to the webspace and transfer my website over?


1. If you have setup a connection, it will show up on the screen via
the name you have given it. Click on File -> Connect. 1&1 Webspace is the
sample connection, highlight this and click Connect.

2. You are now in your web space, on the left of the screen you will
see your local directory, where your files are placed. Click the arrow bar (marked
in red) at the top of the window to navigate around till you find the files you
want to transfer.

3. To transfer your site or an individual file, browse via the left
window till you see the files you want to transfer onto your web space. Highlight
those specific files (if you wish to select a group of files press the SHIFT key
and they click the files you wish to transfer). Once these files are highlighted
(blue) click on the left to right arrow button --> this executes the command to
transfer the files from your local machine to the web space

4. After the button is pressed, the system will go through the process
of transferring the file(s), if you see the file transferred and appear on the
right of the screen (switch the sound cards on to hear the accompanying "successful
command" sound) then the file has been successfully transferred and is now on your
webspace.

The small box in the bottom of the window shows the status of the connection,
if you see a red "connection failed" message please read FAQ I
can't connect, what can be the problem? to see where the problem might lie.
