I can't connect, what can be the problem?


Most failures are caused by errors in typing the user name/password or host address.
These errors can be resolved by checking the correctness of user name, password and
host name.

In WS_FTP you can see the status of FTP connection in the status bar located in the
bottom of the window. Any problems in connecting to your webspace will be shown
here.

Below are some of the most likely causes of any error message.

This message is displayed if the user name or password is incorrect.

This message is displayed when you enter an incorrect host name. With the example
below, the status clearly displays the hostname and a message saying "Unable to
connect to the domain name you entered"

Sometimes this error message is received if FTP access to your webspace has been
blocked. This can be due to may reasons. Please contact support at
support@1and1.com for more information.
