What does Protected Directories mean?Set up password-protected directories for administrative areas and pages that you do not want the public to access. For example: If you have files that are to be accessed by only certain people, you can password protect those files by placing them in a directory and setting up a user name and password for that directory. Anyone trying to access those files will be prompted to enter a user name and password. The first entry in the protected directory overview table is the main user and cannot be edited or deleted.
