How do I delete password protection on a directory?


To delete password protection on a directory please follow these instructions:

1. Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel at: https://admin.1and1.com

If you have only one package, you will land on the Administration page.
If you have more than one package, select the relevant package to reach
its Administration page.


2. Select Protected Directories from the Web Space & Access section.

3. Click Delete.

4. Click Delete again.

5. A confirmation is displayed.
