What is quota?


Quota lets you view details concerning storage space and number of files included in your package.

The amount of hard disk space (web space) and the number of files available, depends on the package you
have selected.

The list below gives you an overview of the available hard disk space and the maximum number of files available.





1&1 Beginner Linux 10GB 262144 Files
1&1 Home Linux 50GB 262144 Files
1&1 Business Linux 100GB 262144 Files
1&1 Developer Linux 250GB 262144 Files


Please note: If you have already used all the available hard disk space, you cannot transfer any more
files to your site using FTP. Delete files you no longer need from your web space to free up space on
the hard disk.
