How do I connect using SSH?You will need to acquire your SSH account information. Check FAQ: What information is required to make an SSH connection? You are going to need an SSH Client. We recommend "PuTTY". It is a free program that gives you SSH access. The Host Name will be mydomain.com (replace with your domain name) and you must change the Protocol from Telnet to "SSH" (Port 22). You can save the session by assigning a name. This will save you from having to re-enter this information each time you want to use SSH! ![]() If you are connecting for the first time you will be asked to authenticate a server key. Click Yes. ![]() Enter the user name and password. The password will not show up while entering it. So enter the password and press enter. ![]() You are now connected by SSH.
