What are Basic CGIs?

Common Gateway Interface (CGI) is used by computers to define how web pages
are displayed. CGI tools or "scripts" are very useful for adding advanced features to
your website. With 1&1's ready-to-run CGIs, you can create and easily integrate
interactive forms into your own webpage such as a guestbook, counter and visitor
forums. The forms reside on a different server.

The CGI library is included with all Linux Shared Hosting packages and Managed Servers.
